FUTURE STARS – Beginners Ages 5 – 6

An introductory course that helps develops hand/eye coordination, basic footwork and beginning stroke production through games to build confidence.

CRUSHERS – Beginners to Advanced Beginners, Ages 7-12

Tuesday & Thursday 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

This introductory course for Beginners to Advanced Beginners will concentrate on developing hand/eye coordination, basic footwork and fundamental stroke production through game based learning.

GRAND PRIX – Intermediates, Ages 8-14
|

Tuesday & Thursday 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

|
This class is designed for kids that are actively competing in the Junior Grand Prix Tennis tournaments, USTA rookie tournaments or local USTA tournaments. Emphasis will be on learning patterns of play, correct shot selection and becoming a better competitor.

TOURNAMENT LEVEL – Advanced players/Pro Approval, All Ages

Tuesday & Thursday 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Advanced play for the competitive junior player with tournament experience. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to improve your skills are necessary. Emphasis will be placed on principals of the game and sports psychology, along with the fun of competition. The program begins with drilling, instruction, and games which are followed by match play and conditioning. PRO approval needed.

Tennis professionals place students in appropriate groups to enhance development. Instructors are USPTA & USPTR certified. Our emphasis is on fun, sportsmanship and healthy competition. PVGCC Club Members and Non- Club Members are welcomed to play, with non-members paying an additional fee. Tennis class changes will be determined by interest and a minimum of four students will be required to hold a clinic.
Private Lessons are available with pros, both half hour and one hour sessions
